No, she won't hold it against you. But she may hold "it" against someone else who will dance with her.

In Puerto Rico if you do not dance you are worthless $#!+ to women, period. Can't dance=guaranteed loneliness 100%. To Puerto Rican women dancing decides who their man for life is. I ain't playin'. It's total truth.

That sucks because she's Mexican and they're a dance-centric culture too

You better get your ass on the dance floor when she asks. Girls love to dance man.

I'm not really a dancer but I do have rhythm and can make something happen. Just have a few drinks and you won't even care what you look like. Just don't get sloppy.

Me and some friends went downtown one night to go clubbing a few years back. As I said in my previous post, I'm not much of a dancer but do have rhythm and can make up moves. Some probably looked ridiculous.

Anyway, I had had a few drinks and my friends finally dragged my ass on the dance floor. From there I said screw it and took off. By the end of the night I had danced with 3-4 random girls and was having a great time.

I went to the restroom and as I was standing at the urinal, a guy walks in beside me and says "Man I gotta say, you were crazy on the dance floor out there."

True story.

Moral of the story. Just get out there and move.

I hate dancing. I positively hate it. At 6'1" tall and strongly built (not overweight but "stout" and stiff), it just makes me feel awkward . I'm sure it has deprived me of many dating opportunities, but less so than the fact I don't play the guitar (or any other music instrument) or do not have my own "oils" to show a visiting female...

I think you are reading waaaay too into it.

This is something she wants then just make her happy.

Dancing can be close even on a fast song. Just grab her close and move your hip to every third beat.

Seriously, I have seen couples out dancing on a fast song doing a slow and passionate dance together. Did it look weird? No. They were lost in each others company.

Remember "Hitch." "You are right here. That's it. Nothing more."
