yep... but it is not a make it or break it thing.

This is hilarious, the mods removed posts in this thread, especially of some bisexual women.

isn't it only a shallow woman who would hold this against somebody?

Besides, of what supreme value is dancing? Isn't this like holding against somebody who can't cook souffle? lol..

Before I married, I would hold it against a guy if he did dance. I hate to dance and I knew I would have to meet someone who didn't because with dancing usually comes someone who does like to go to a club and it's not something I'm interested at all.

Stay away from women who dance. They're high maintenance and actually believe dance is a relationship foundation. This is how insane these women are. Stay away from them. Find a normal women who doesn't dance.

They wouldn't hold it against you, but it could work in your favor if you took some lessons. I hear most men tend to dislike dancing big time. You see it a lot in a club...boyfriend will be nursing a drink, while his girl goes out on the dance floor...and he'll just watch.

My advice? DRINK HEAVILY. Then your inhibitions will leave, and you will find yourself on the dance floor in no time. You may look like a giant spider out there after being sprayed by a can of Raid, but hey at least you're trying. Effort = some points. Looking like an idiot my detract points however, but at least you'll know.

absolutely true, and to the women that take dancing seriously, it's a fundamental requirement in their lives. They "must" dance, etc

I hate dancing too, but I know some women who enjoy it, so I decided to try and learn 'couples' dancing. Couples dancing is when you hold the hands or arms of your partner and swing around each other, and it's called swing, ballroom, etc. Not freestyle.

I took three lessons and it wasn't that bad. I have a long way to go though.

In couples dancing, what looks like two people dancing together equally is not true- the guy always takes the lead. She follows you in the dance. You swing her here and there, and 'command' her when to twirl, etc. So guys, if you hate couples dancing, this is actually something where you take charge and direct.

A first time poster reviving a thread that's been dead for eight years just to denigrate women who like to dance? Sorry the dancing ladies hurt you so much, friend.
