@ Ruth4Truth

You state most men "in real life" know better

Then how do you explain so much stipulation, debates and divorce court cases ? Most divorce are based on money issues.

Doesnt that tell you these terms , as hard as they are to hear, are being overseen, ignored prior to getting involved with someone..or that one party is really ignoring the others wishes???

Shouldnt that be more reason for prenump and post nump??

A lot of people are getting married that shouldn't be. And they're not having the conversations they need to have prior to marriage, or they're not being honest in those conversations. Another indication they're not mature enough to get married, if they're being duplicitous in the pre-nuptial discussions.

then shouldnt that be more reason why we need terms of marriage in the manisfestation of a contract to outline these terms and avoid funny business? thats what formed corporations do.

why are so many women objected to that

You assumed it was based on my bourgeois nature, or mentality as joboba would put it. And you were both wrong in this thread. That's not respect. It's boloney.

I do find it disrespectful that it took this long for you to tell me why you made your decision though. It's also my fault for not directly asking you about it, too.

And on the "it's your loss thing" it literally IS your loss lol. You chose to lose something!
If you wanted to know why you should have pm'd me. It was not my assumption that you would care in the least. I unfriend and reject requests quite often, so I guess I'm virtually losing all around.

If you want to require a pre-nup, go for it.

Not always.

A gold digger, in my opinion (perhaps I am one whom throws it around too easily) is one who latches on to someone of greater weath than themselves under the auspices of increasing their own wealth or social standing.

Shouldnt every guy/girl?
Do you not agree that every person has the right to know every detail entailed with such an agreement including his/her partners expectation and that if one was to deviate, the marriage should be void or require re affirmation?

lmao. I'm not going to argue with you anymore.

I did cite a bad example. For that I apologize. But you do say that you are picky.

And i don't DM very often. The only way I would have learned why you did so would have been like this. Again, I'm not upset nor angry or bitter or anything you may or may not be thinking. But realize that it's a strange event that I lose friends.

Anyhow, enjoy your life. I'm done with this conversation.
