Because you're grumpy. And you don't sound too happy about your coming retirement. T supplementation can ward off depression, which is where you're headed right now.

Eternal boredom? Really? How about volunteering? Getting a hobby? Taking dance lessons, like ballroom? Joining a club? Maybe writing about the places you traveled to?

Oh, wait, this is about romance. Well, if you are in good shape and have social skills, I don't see why you couldn't find someone. Just be realistic about things like age and expecting someone to come along and cook and clean for you and you should be fine.

I have a housekeeper and I cook very well, it's one of the few things I enjoy besides working. I never needed a woman to take care of me or my issues.

The gal that works for me, her Mother is 76 or 78 and she is getting married in the next few months.
I don't think your age is working against you.

I prefer not to live off drugs.

Or maybe it was appealing to him, but the idea of being in a relationship with him was not appealing to any woman in whom he found interest. That's where I find myself.

Don't be surprised if one of them ends up penniless.
