Try that for an opening line. Guaranteed to be completely original.....and someone with a quirky sense of humor will love it.

I have been giving this some thought lately. Now at 35, sometimes I do wonder "if it's me". Now, on one hand, I totally believe that not everyone will find someone. It's just life. And luck. It ain't gonna happen for everyone. But on the other hand, I think I'm fairly attractive...independent...pretty easy to get along with...good-hearted...yada yada yada...so I think I 'should' have someone. And I remain patient. But sometimes I start to thinking...maybe I'm not putting myself out there enough, or maybe I'm too shy, or too picky, or this or that.

Has anyone here ever come to a conclusion of something they were doing wrong in the dating game/game of love and adjusted something about yourself as a result? Or even more interestingly, have you been told by someone/other people some thing or things you needed to change?
There were sooo many kick ass bars over in Buckhead when I went to Georgia Tech back around 1990. I have heard that Buckhead is nothing like it was back then.

Too bad you are not a bit younger you could go an snag yourself a tech braniac. Lol, the first day I am on campus I meet a fellow Pennsylvanian - smartest lady I think that I have ever met (PhD in engineering) and believe it or not a cheerleader (during her BS) to boot and I quote: "OMG this place is filled with cute guys ... and they are desperate!"

Its my age and location. With OLD, 30 something year old women don't look at me because I'm 46. Also, I live in the worst city (with population over a million) in America for dating.

Well, you're not in your 30s anymore, so why don't you look at 40 something women?

IF you want to have a chance at having kids, you probably need to look younger

How does this explain anything? It's natural that 30-something women don't look at you. Are 40-something women looking at you? That's the question.

I thought you were in a relationship. Didn't you recently create a thread about it?

But if you wait until you're in your mid 40s and find that you're having difficulty attracting women of childbearing age, maybe it's time to give up that idea unless you'd rather be single than with someone your own age.
