Just heard of this story and boy oh boy, scary stuff. Woman was gang raped by 5 guys and some of the reasoning and logic that the defense used was truly grotesque and yet some jury bought it, hook line and sinker.

A woman was sexually assaulted by 5 men. A Spanish court says it

Gross negligence and abuse of a system. That judge needs some non-violent, unprovably intimidating wall-to-wall counseling.

I remember Super Dave from a long time ago. He was on the cable show Bizarre. I remember trying to push the cable box switch without anyone hearing me.

Does anyone else find they have a few acquaintances here they're loathe to give up, really enjoy talking to and dropping in... but also find this forum has gotten trollsy and often either lame or downright silly?

I've gotten mostly ok with how things go around here, trollsy or not.

I try not to rise to the bait, though sometimes...sometimes it happens before I can check myself. But what does annoy me is when I feel like we're having a perfectly interesting discussion and the topic is actually engaging me and all, and then some fool comes and hauls it off into a stupid direction and it gets locked. And it seems to me, that was the whole purpose, to shut down the conversation. I don't expect the mods to have the time to clean up all the junk, so I get it, but man...it's disappointing.

It's been that way for a while now. Most of the time if you pull up the relationships forum and just peruse the title of the threads most of them are complete BS, in my opinion. It seems like it's not really all that common where I see threads that look 100% legit. There are of course, but to me it seems like there is more BS trolling going on even though they may appear to be normal until you get a few posts in and you can see an agenda forming fairly quickly.

I use this place strictly for entertainment purposes.

Through the course of a thread it's pretty normal for threads to drift, it's just when some jackalope comes in and does a total redirection which can be annoying. I know it just happened a day or two ago on a thread. It was pretty egregious and obvious the way they did it, but whatever.

Sure, there are some blatant re-directs, but more often than not, I see people (both posters and others) saying things are off topic to the OP, when they're actually addressing the topic, but the person claiming that its off topic can't understand how it actually very much relates to the OP. That happens a lot on here. Not even speaking for my posts, but I've seen so many good posts on this forum, and some of the regional forums, being removed for off topic posts when they brought up important points that were relevant to the OPs.
