Sometimes younger people think "everyone was doing it back then". Hardly the case. I never did this and I don't know anyone who did. Did we drink yes. Was everyone involved in a non-stop sex orgy. Hardly. Most of my friends and the people I knew were married by the time they were in their mid 20's. Of course they were productive citizens, not alcoholics.
