As for the heat, I live in Minnesota and love the cold, so heat would be a serious problem for me. Especially since I'm about the whitest white person you could ever meet. I'd need SPF100 if they made it.
They make it, I know, I am 1/2 Irish and half German. About as white as it gets.

It must be great to be in an area struck by a disaster, digging out bodies, trying to find survivors, and then have a pompously self-righteous christian point a finger and say 'You deserved this'. That is contemptible and very uncivilized, even anti-social.

Needless to say, I dont think they would be standing very long. Their God is going about it hte wrong way. He is not going to increase his fanbase by killing. I mean there are about 100 other ways to make your point. I think he is just a demented thing playing people for fools.
Maybe instead of arguing whether these folks are suffering the wrath of god or not, we should instead show a little empathy for their situation and do what we can to help...I have and thanks to my government my donation just doubled.

I have always had a problem with people tying their help to their own agenda, smuggling alien ideas into a different culture like Mother Theresa did in India.
That is why Muslim countries have the Red Halfmoon instead of the Red Cross.
The notion that there is anything wrong with adhering to older African religions just like Brazilians and Cubans do, is typical of zealous Christians.

What gives you the idea that people sin? I don't sin by your Christian standards, not even by my own stricter standards. Most people I know don't commit any sins as defined by Christianity.
