A Taqueria Jalisco #4 is opening up on Nacogdoches just outside 410 where Jack in the Box used to be. But there is already a Taqueria Jalisco between Sun Harvest and Taco Cabana. I don't know if the restaurant has the same owners and they're moving to a cheaper building or what because I think that old Jack in the Box building would hold less seating. I tried getting breakfast tacos there and I didn't like them, so I drive a little farther to Caracheo's on Bitters by MacArthur HS. I would love to see more non-Mexican restaurants open up. There are about a dozen Tex-Mex restaurants within a mile of where I live.

In Texas, when we say "mexican," we mean Tex-Mex.

Chicken joint, but I don't know if it's fried, baked, broiled, grilled, BBQ, or alley cat. Not sure

Wife and I ate at Chachos on Monday for lunch, and I noticed that on the sign for Zooey's, it said "street food". I thought that was interesting, because I'm not quite sure what street food is.

Hmm....street food = road kill? I dunno. Last time I was at that Chachos, I felt like I should be packing a weapon.....

Guess you've never watched Andrew Zimmern or Anthony Bourdain on the Travel Channel. They loooove going to other countries and eating street food. Street food establishments are the equivalent of a food truck that never moves. Simple menu. Fresh ingredients. Cooking done within a couple feet of where you place your order.

Now Taco Cabana is selling "street tacos". Supposed to be like the ones in the markets/streets of Mexico. I'm not so sure about that..
