This guy feels that Seattle council members can pick n' choose.

They come across as extremely arrogant, rude and couldn't care any less about certain constituents.

2 mins. up: what's wrong with that. All cities have 2 mins. limit. The guy is rude, not the council.

Everything becomes a political issue in the U.S. This is a Seattle emergency. The family visiting from Tennessee was appalled at the smells downtown. I bet they were seeing Pike Place Market.

Since 1914 the world has gone mad. Paul McCartney has been a guy by the name of William Shears Campbell since November 9, 1966. He replaced James Paul McCartney, who wanted out of all the madness that was The Beatles. The girls screaming at the shows freaked the Liverpool lads out, monitors were not made yet. They hated touring. Plus, they were a Tavistock creation. British Illuminatti. Created to turn American and Canadian (enter your favorite nation here) people away from Jesus Christ, religion and morals. William Shears Campbell was a man who could compose music. None of the Fab Four could compose music, or even read music. Plus, he could play several instruments and sing beautifully. He was known as "the man of 1,000 voices." Oh, yeah, the YouTube/Google rabbit hole is waiting for you. Don't believe me? Check it out. Patience is your friend. And truth is stranger than fiction. Heather Mills is under a gag order (you remember Heather, once married to Faul (fake Paul)). She found out that the man she married wasn't really Paul McCartney! She can not divulge the "secret" I just revealed to you. Or she will be killed. But, oh time has gotten away from me, now, hasn't it? Fancy a plate of fish-n-chips takeaway?

Oh, BTW. The deal in Rhode Island. bartonizer, did you even watch the video? At all? It's the government that is controlling it! Remember, that silly little KOMO video written and narrated by Eric Johnson? Seattle's policemen are quitting or working in a perpetual state of frustration. The job they were hired ta do no longer has any teeth to it.

This is not the biggest deception in history (Paul McCartney's replacement under a huge hush order from the British MI5 and MI6). You'll love the wonderful British mystery and intrigue. It makes for fascinating reading, folks, I'm tellin' ya!

This story is about the continued downfall of mankind. To keep things upbeat, there will come a day of reckoning. What we see now will be gone. And it is real. As real as the gag order on one-legged Heather Mills, people. Oh it's so real.

Not Billy Shears! He just needed a little help from his friends.

Is there any reason we cannot turn McNeil Island into a drug treatment facility?

It's a pretty "socialist" solution but given that right wingers are loving the opportunity to take shots at Seattle, one would assume they support the proposal.

I believe McNeil Island was the dormant facility down south that Eric Johnson suggested be used to rehabilitate homeless druggies living on the streets of Seattle. There has to be tough rules like Rhode Island institutes, though. Their program is the goal to be reached for here. Watch the SCC get collective sarcastic grins and level a big 'ole puke all over the idea. The inmates are running the asylum.

Well that was helpful.

You break the law and are given the choice between prison or voluntary drug treatment.

Or

You break the law and are arrested and immediately released to do the same thing over and over.

How is that a political or economic choice between socialism and capitalism? It's sad that so many see this as a partisan or ideological issue. That's the reason we west coast cities are where we are.

I realize half the posters here don't even live in Seattle but I'm more focused on Seattle solutions. Some would call the need for the three medications they name "for life" as socialized medicine. It looks like McNeil Island might be a potential location, I've heard it suggested before too. It would be miserable if Seattle ended up having to be the place where drug addicts go in hopes of being picked up and sent to treatment but I don't know what else this country is offering as a viable solution.
