I didnt read all the updated posts since I posted last time, so this is probably going to be an unpopular post -
I am so pissed that Heejun was voted off. His voice is good, he just let his nerves get the best of him.
But on a positive note, Colton & Philip are still there. I'm thinking that Colton might be the Daughtry of this season. He is really good, but hopefully they will vote him off before the final 2 so he will be able to make it big and not be constricted by the Idol contract.
A good example of how the producers manipulate things is when Ryan never 'read' the tweet Carrie Underwood sent for Hollie which was really positive, because as I see the buzz on the net, is interpreted as they don't want the inference to get out to Carrie's hardcore fans to vote exclusively for Hollie. The buzz is that they want Hollie gone to keep promoting Jessica.
I never heard Carrie's tweet to Hollie. Ryan mentioned the tweet, but never said it. I hope Hollie does a better job on this upcoming Wednesday so I can vote for her till my thumbs fall off. It seems like to me that Hollie is the underdog in this "Hollie vs. Jessica" smackdown, and they wanna get rid of her to keep promoting Jessica.

I'm not upset but I agree with you. Heejun had a remarkable voice at the beginning (auditions, Hollywood and Las Vegas) but lost it in the live performances. Same with his personality. I wonder if reading unkind comments (not here, but all over the internet) affects these kids' confidence much more than we realize.

I don't think it was his nerves. The show certainly promoted his comedic side and I think that along with some singing on the side, is more where his strengths lie. I think he knows he doesn't have the dedication or consistency to win based on his own words and actions, but yeah he has a beautiful tone when he applies himself and the song fits his voice.
His demise now frees up the asian vote to go exclusively to Jessica.

Interesting article. I always thought Diddy may be a drinker, but not good to put it out there if you want a career in music. The rest of the stuff he said about the Voice and who he was rooting for was just Heejun's humor, IMO. You can't take him seriously.
I'm watching the tv normally. It seems like that he sings country because he busts out those acoustic guitars.
