Well, I must say, those bridesmaids' dresses were beautiful. And Beth should've explained that there are millions of bridesmaids who haven't liked their dresses, so just suck it up. This day is about Madison, not you, Tess. Basic life etiquette.
...
That was my thought, too. Heck, you wear the dress for what...an hour...and it's not about you feeling good, it's about making the bride feel good.

I really can't stand Toby. All that constant joking gets on my last nerve. And Kate may still be morbidly obese but wowza, she looked stunning in that wedding gown.
I can't stand Toby either for the same reasons and i never could since the first show. He has toned it down the past couple of seasons and has played Toby more seriously. There is still too much pushiness.
I also thought those dresses were beautiful. I wouldn't mind wearing a dress like that. As I said in my other post, I don't understand why they picked up the dresses in CA when Randall's girls were the only bridesmaids. The teachable moment was when Tess began to sulk and instead of indulging her, Tess's mother should have said this isn't your big day. When you have your big day, then you can pick out the attire.
In May 2021, it was announced that the sixth season would be its last.
Here's hoping the writers do better with season six than they did with season five.
I enjoyed season 5. It would have been nice to have from the 12 year future story line, but that could have been due to shortening the season by 2 episodes at the last minute.
I thought season five had its ups and downs, but overall I enjoyed it.
I think we have to remember that after four years some of the "newness" wore off. And that's why I think they are wise to bring it to a conclusion after one more season. I am more and more grateful for networks allowing programs to come to a conclusion of sorts, rather than simply disappearing when they get cancelled.
How was she being a brat? She was withdrawn, but wasn't pouting obnoxiously. She was quietly struggling. And it wasn't her suggestion to change the dress.
