Its possible it did that for me on Tier 2 and I just didn't notice it. I didn't have to obsess over status because nothing went wrong with it. Maybe I just never noticed it doing "not paid" and then switching to "$ forwarded to account"?
Yeah it would do it to me on my tiers all the time, and that was before I was switched to interstate. So the fact that it's doing it to a lot of us that have already recieved our first payment... leads me to automatically be pretty positive over it going back to the typical system of payday being Tues night at 12 for us, and it's probably just a error or their system hasn't updated yet.
The first payment automatically processes and gets forwarded to your account immediately, after that it goes back to the regular pay schedule that we're totally used to by now.
I'm not going to worry and give myself an ulcer until Wed morning if it still says not paid, that's when I would call. Until then just wait and see what all happens.

Both. We've explained it several times, but again...
If you're claim is still reading processing you need to either visit or call the GDOL and have them update your claim year in order to get SEB. EVEN IF YOU FILED A SEB CLAIM... your claim year has to be updated BEFORE you see a dime from SEB.
If you want to wait, then it will be processed by the GDOL within the 28 days you filed for it.
I find that strange for he never had to do anything but sign up on line for the SEB benefits. He had not called or gone into the office at all. At least not in the past several months. He also has been out of work for close to 2 years.
As far as waiting for 28 days if thats the case, I can wait, waited this long. I just want a answer of some sort at some time, if I qualify.

They are constantly working on processing everyone's SEB claim so it takes some time because they also have SEB, the tiers & reg UI claims to handle as well. BUT there's no order to it, it's done totally randomly. One person that files their seb on may 21st may not have it approved (by the above way) before someone who filed it in June 1st. It's random. That's why I say just call or go to the center and have them do it. That way you know when it's done and don't have to worry over it.
All they have to do is update your claim year to make sure you aren't eligible for any other forms of UI before your SEB is released.
thank god - mine changed to paid and the last 2 pmts hit my bank along with the $25 - dont know how much they think we can all take - guess we are all ok until at least next monday after the 1st week of putting in work search
