Canada greatly limits free speech. The US,for all are faults,by a mile.
Really?
I'd say the opposite, on "normal" Canadian TV after 9pm, when movies are shown, swearing is not censored, including the f word,
for example, even here at CD (a US site), I have be careful not to type any "bad" words
Nude scenes are also not cut either but in USA any nudity on normal TV channels is a big no no, ironic cuz guess where alot of porn comes from
I think the U.S. is the most tolerant, because there's really no apples-to-apples comparison with the other countries.
The U.S. has a very substantial population/percentage of different ethnic minorities and religious minorities. If a major European country had the same, I'm not sure how tolerant their society would be overall.
Not really. France and England have as many different ethnicities and religious minorities as the US.
But what percentage? If France and England were each 35% non-white (for the entire country) like the U.S. is, then how tolerant would their societies be? They aren't, so we can't make a reasonable comparison.
Not really. France and England have as many different ethnicities and religious minorities as the US.
Both countries are not new nations made up by immigrants as the US, but immigrants were absorbed.
yes but they have not blended into french or british society - culture near as harmoniously as in america
i think thier is a lot to be said for giving america number one though id probabley put england a very close second bar the ghetoisation of many islamic communities , of course that was a policy which was instigated by the left wing cultural relativists who believe immigrants should retain thier identity 100%
