The war on Afghanistan, Iraq etc is pointless there's no threat of war from these countries.

I figured the UK was involved too but didn't want to comment on that because I've never lived there. There is a huge amount of scare mongering. We are constantly being told how dangerous people in other parts of the world are, right before or after another story of an American who was killed by another American whether it was drunk driving, school shooting, domestic violence you name it. Yet we don't even realize this when we blindly watch or listen to our news.

Here in the UK the government is fueling the stereotype of Eastern europeans wanted yo come to this country and drain out our resources.
The news is just doing its job reporting world events, its not the medias fault that stories like where people are getting their hands chopped off in public tend to come from the middle east.

In both situations, crime doesn't pay but to make the Middle-east seem like it's the only place to do horrible things to people is not telling the whole story.

Doesnt matter i guess cause this is nothing compared to the terrorist attacks being carried out by muslim extremist.
Speaking of terrorist attacks, there was one just this week in a train station in southern Russia, perhaps a warning of what could happen during the Olympic Games in Sochi.

No it isn't scare mongering because the people in this country are not villainized in the same way.
Also, if we use your logic then white men need to be looked at the same way as the biggest terror attack on US soil prior to 9/11 was done by two white men in Oklahoma City. You seriously can't see the double standard here?
