Sorry, I confused you with Tzap for a minute because of your bad analogy. We are not the ones who are nagging, we are not the ones using religion to try and make laws for everyone, we are not the ones killing people in the name of religion, we are not the ones knocking on doors trying to sell a religious belief.

Some religious people have a big problem with the fact we do not believe in gods. They use terms such as 'militant' to describe us just because we post on blogs, yet we are not the ones who have songs such as 'onwards Christian soldiers'?

And too many posts on this forum can be reduced to 'why do atheists simply not shut up'? Yours is one, accusing us of nagging. What are you afraid of, that you may be wrong?

A Rep for anyone coming with a really good lyric for 'Onward Goddless Bastards'.

Communism. I don't want it no matter how much it would make some people happy. I prefer diversity.
Some adults can not accept the fact that others are different than themselves, so they play the victim card in order to make laws that restrict freedoms.

didn't we know it? Half of America never got the Memo. The wall came down, China took the capitalist road and Communism is pretty much dead. The US merely continues a paranoid conspiracy theory and tells lies about anyone to the left of John Wayne in order to fuel the hate.

For the record and just so they can't claim nobody told them, 'Liberalsm' such as lack of a god -dictated morality tends to push towards is what one party State Socialism even under Andropov would have regarded as decadent capitalist ..er....Liberaism.

Yes, as I found out in my 70's days of fighting attempts at Marxist hi -jacking of the office union, if both sides (1) regarded you as a liberal, you could be confident you had got the middle of the capitalist road.

(1) "Real Democracy" (Marxist) and "National Front" (Nazi).

Whether Christianity and its' claims are true is a matter that does affect our everyday lives and what happens after is the salvation -claims are true. Thus, the discussion about Christianity (or not) is more important than the 'god' -claim.
It is the way you do it. Not to mention making dubious accusations about atheists, pointless anecdotes about priests who try to justify doing a job they don't believe in anymore, and atheists who don't mind if someone invites them to a church wedding (I've been with a Buddhist wife to a Sikh wedding)... but I won't mention any of that

In 'describing reality', once can do it correctly, misleadingly or falsely and that includes accusing atheists (on no valid data that I can see) or applying labels (like New atheism which atheists never asked for - it was slapped on them by theists who didn't the 'New' way we suddenly had a Presence) with no point that I can see other than to swipe at atheists, and I suppose for the same reason you always did - political.

And none of that seems to have much relevance to the thread -topic anyway.
Some atheists have an agenda. You are one of them. It is fair to point that out Trans.

Some would call it a 'mission statement'. 'Agenda' would do. I have used both terms. So can you. I reserve the right, however, to disagree with what you may think that agenda is.

You act as if "agenda" is a dirty word.

At first it was "We just want to be left alone!" and people were like who's bothering you? The reply: "The Inquisitions", "Kim Davis","Westboro", "someone said a Jehovah's witness knocked on their cousin's door", "we are the bastions of science", etc. Now it's "I am afraid of what you are teaching your children", "People who do not embrace evolution do not deserve life" etc. Mankind is devolving.

What would you think if someone else's agenda is in serious conflict with your world view?
