Ahh that is true, but when I lived there in 2000, I dont think that was the case, because there was a big uproar about how much money they were losing and the only way for them to survive was to get State funding (If I remember correctly).

Well it seems like someone started shooting during an altercation and then the cop came in shooting, so it was like it wasnt unprovoked.

If anything it sounds like the MARTA police were right on top of the situation.

Right, it's very difficult to say what was going on and it's best to leave it to the GBI at this point. The fact that a MARTA cop was on hand is encouraging. Hopefully his response was appropriate.

That is so sad. I don't know how we get from a couple of kids enjoying a high school football game to a fatal police shooting in a matter of seconds.
