I'll have to admit that threads like this concern me as someone who is planning on moving to Atlanta. I am female and 18 and would like to think that it would be safe to use public transit. Is crime on Marta really this big a deal?

Honestly I say Crime in Atlanta is a bigger issue than Crime on MARTA

Nope... People are blowing this up. As a marta rider I been riding it for 7 years and I am still here, Im pretty sure thousands have the same story that I do..

There are more crimes that happen elsewhere than crimes happening inside the marta stations..
