Their bats are on fire! Now the pitching, on the other hand...

About 35,000 attended Friday's game and last night was almost a sellout (40,706). I think there's been a bit of a wait & see attitude regarding traffic issues, and the I-85 shutdown hasn't helped. Looks like the Braves will be fine at this location.

Looks like today is gonna be close to a sellout too, gonna try to score a couple cheap tickets last minute but not looking good. Braves are 12th in MLB attendance, if only their play was that strong.

Traffic wasn't that bad on Saturday. I was in the area, not aware there was a game, just before the game started and managed to get around it without any significant problems.

It's a weekend series. Weekend series weren't the problem

My original title is actually very favorable to STP. They likely will end up below 18 (of 20 years) at Turner in attendance.

Unless something changes, looks likes this year at STP will end up with lower attendance than every year at Turner except the last two years / after they had already announced leaving the city.

How can you say stuff like that, with 133 of 162 games left to play in the season? You have no idea what the numbers will look like when the season is over.

Easy, I add: "Unless something changes..." to the start.

(Braves start out the season 5-0)

"Unless something changes, the Braves are looking like they're going to be the first team to go 162-0."
