You must have missed it:

Through 22 games at SunTrust Park, attendance is up 38 percent from the same point last year at Turner Field. That is the largest increase by any MLB team this season

The other 14 MLB teams that have opened new stadiums since 2000 posted an average attendance increase of 28 percent in their first full season in their new home.

But attendance was not good last year. ~25,000 on average, good for #22nd place.

The idea that the STP is doing "worse business" than Turner Field has for many years is laughable. The Braves are very happy with the performance of the Battery and STP, and near everyone that goes to a game is delighted.

Ya'll might try going to a game!

Braves saw a big drop off in attendance after announcing there move at the end of 2013. I know I have not been thrilled to go to a game since and apparently I am not the only one.

The stadium could be empty every night and the Braves would still have to find a way to portray it as a great move. Fact is, attendance this year is below the average at Turner Field and well below what the Braves stated they were hoping for (knowing full well the quality of product they were putting on the field).

No, I didn't miss anything. The Braves' attendance stinks, probably because they moved to a sprawly park in nowheresville.

The fact that they're currently beating the attendance from the final year in a condemmed park is hardly indicative of anything. They should be selling out practically every game, as is the norm with new stadia.

Ask whodean. He brought this thread back to life with "Say, how is that Braves STP attendance thing going?" and is now getting all butt-hurt because attendance has actually dropped further since this thread was originally posted.

Its clear that some haters and trolls will just never admit anything positive about STP and the Braves. It's cool, we get it, you are butthurt.
