Yeah, it is quite the launching pad. Things got worrisome in the 8th & 9th innings as the Giants scored 5 runs & were 1 hit away from tying or even taking the lead in the game. It almost ended up being my most traumatizing sporting event since the Falcons' Super Bowl loss!

That stadium is going to have a great atmosphere when it's packed and the games are important. I'm hoping the Braves can get into Wild Card contention this season.

They'll be there soon, not this season, but soon.

What's cool is I heard the fireworks blast from my bedroom when they won on that HR in the 11th the other night. I wasn't watching, I heard that and checked the score and sure enough. It was neat.

Yeah, unrealistic to expect that this year. I was thinking there might be a chance for the Braves to make a move since some teams are under-achieving this year (Cubs, Cardinals) and then I noticed there are three teams in the West above .600.

It's actually not as much as you'd think: 2017 MLB Park Factors - Runs - Major League Baseball - ESPN

I think the Braves sellouts were a fluke too. It not like Atlanta United where they have sold out all seven of their home games so far. If you want real fun at a sports event, those are the games to go to.
But that's in the city, with all those urban problems.

They are currently averaging 29,863 a game. Which is below 13 of 20 years at Turner.

If avg attendance drops another 1,200 it will join the lame-duck years as the lowest attendance since 1991.

Either way, still no way they get to the Braves hopes of ~40k this year.
1991, a year they won the division. How awful to only match that attendance

I like how you never factor in or mention anything that doesn't go along with your pre-determined troll narrative.
New stadia usually result in record crowds, even if the team stinks.

The fact that a brand new stadium is doing worse business than the old stadium is highly problematic.
