There were Pitcher Plants hung from above in the greenhouse that was in the film, Minority Report; they could do well in Hawaii but Agriculture would probably not allow them in.

The Pitcher Plants that were hung from above in the film would probably do very well in Hawaii but it is doubtful that Agriculture would let them on to the Island.

Check out these 2 decent, good Thai Restaurants in Pahoa: Sukothai and Ning's.

My two-doors-down neighbor has a huge bunch of pitcher plants growing all over a tree in his front yard.

I think I've seen them for sale at Akatsuka Orchids north of Volcano on Highway 11.

This place is fantastic, besides having about 400 or more unusual orchids for sale in their greenhouse, they even have flowering orchids that are fragrant, like chocolate orchids. They have the violet/blue Vanda Variety which can be hard to find elsewhere.

Yeah, it's pretty special. And they have a lot of small orchid plants at very reasonable prices, like $8.

The biggest bargain, however, may be their bottle of 40 orchids for $40. They have a blooming sample on view for each variety, and the bottle contains 40 cloned starts. I've planted them all over my property, in the trunks of tree ferns, in the crooks of ohi'a trees, etc. They take three years to bloom, but I like surprises, and by then I will probably have forgotten all about them.

Very good for you ! You have imagination and must have read up on what orchids like. Some of the most exotics come from Phillipines and New Guinea from what I have been told.

Has anyone noticed or done a search of this google search engine : Lost People / Missing Children of Puna ? Puna, being this side of Paradise Big Island. I am sorry to see that many of these people have never been found. Sean Ryan disappeared while at Kona a few years ago. Where or what took these souls ? We should keep them in our prayers to the Father.
