Fun fact some white italian boy from Staten Island got in a Red Sox argument with me and then ended it when he lost with the “oh go back to boston and do your hate crimes or whatever you do!”

I went like four pictures deep on his instagram to him using the hard N word, he wasnt very... happy.. when i did posted the screenies. Howver, pretty itineraries lol

I think the racist piece is tied to Boston's name. Whether people actually believe its racist or not is a different story however. In this situation Boston was called racist to make someone feel better or get that last input in..

That's pretty funny considering Staten Island has a pretty racist and backward reputation itself.

It is what it is....every city has its negative reputation which these days is usually outdated. Boston is racist, New York is full of garbage and graffiti, Cleveland is a river fire, Oakland is a ghetto murder town, LA is full of gangs and plastic people, the Chi-raq thing, etc. Nothing you can do about it.

On the flip side, I think people have a lot of misunderstandings about Staten Island. The Northern part is pretty urban + mostly black and Hispanic

I know this, I don't know if everyone does... but most of State Island is white and suburban. Especially in terms of geographic land area.

But staten island is 60% white and 29% black or latino. So not only in land area-just especially land area

It's still only 60% white though, and will likely be under 50% within a generation or two

Lebron just called Boston Celtics fans racist. I must say BostonBorn is on to something. I’m surprised this trend has lasted this long.
