Good one!

If I ever said to someone that I had to go the The Liquor Store people would look at me funny.

I can't believe no one has mentioned, "spuckies". I believed this usage to be long gone, but I actually saw a sign advertising them a few weeks ago. Would anyone care to venture a guess?

We both bought our rings also at the Jeweler's Building. In the 70's the guy's name was Herb Shuster. We did get good buys though.
jewlers buliding and jewler joseph gann, I do remember well. Jordan's blueberry muffins were so good!

Ah, YES! A spuckie is a sub....It's from "spuccadella", the actual Italian word for the roll.

Thanks, Dave V for the video flashbacks. I actually didn't watch them 'cause I thought they'd make me cry! I 've lived in Maine now for 26 years but spent the rest of my puny life in Boston. I have to admit to a number of things in your list with the exception of the more obnoxious ones. I've learned from living in Maine that driving a big muddy 4x4 truck with a plow frame on the front trumps most aggressive Boston drivers except those with a death wish.
