Are you saying be Patriotic= Fascism.....................

Apparently you did not read what I wrote, go back, read what I wrote, and compare that to patriotism, while you are at it, remember what HL Mencken said, "Patriotism is the last refuge of the Scoundrel"

Now the left claims to be religious are they or aren't they?? Are you saying only the right has "Country Pride"..............

I have no idea what the left is, I do know that religion was created by man for domination over man. Religion and a spirit filled life have nothing in common

Funny Michelle Obama claims she was never proud of her country.

A canard of the rightwing whackos, perpetuated by those for home critical thinking is a satanic ritual.

Palin claims to have always loved her country, and you call that extreme?

Again, you did not read what I wrote, you read into what I wrote, what your prejudices wanted to see. Palin's husband advocated the succession of Alaska from the United States I imagine Sarah feels the same, I consider that the opposite of Patriotism, as in traitorous. I think Palin will advocate what ever someone pays her to advocate.

Your the one that could use a history lesson, not taught by Liberals or Athesits...........
"We are socialists, we are enemies of today's capitalistic economic system for the exploitation of the economically weak, with its unfair salaries, with its unseemly evaluation of a human being according to wealth and property instead of responsibility and performance, and we are all determined to destroy this system under all conditions."
--Adolf Hitler(Speech of May 1, 1927. Quoted by Toland, 1976, p. 306)
Sound familiar...............................................

I read it...........There's nothing wrong with Patriotism, only wrong when used against it's people. There's nothing wrong with loving God and Country.
Oh Yes,since prayer and flag has been removed from our schools we have much more respect for each other and our youth are so kind to each other. Bullying and Suicide has taken their place in our schools.
As for HL Mencken............ you tell me where was his thinking any different than Hitler.....At the request of its original publisher Alfred A Knopf, Mencken wrote a revised edition (1946), eliminating (among other changes) a controversial quote about Jews:
The Jews could be put down very plausibly as the most unpleasant race ever heard of. As commonly encountered, they lack many of the qualities that mark the civilized man: courage, dignity, incorruptibility, ease, confidence. They have vanity without pride, voluptuousness without taste, and learning without wisdom. Their fortitude, such as it is, is wasted upon puerile objects, and their charity is mainly a form of display.

Not sure what your trying to say here, does seem you put all Christians in a "Religious Box". Religion being created is your opinion, I don't feel the least bit controlled by man, through my faith.

Are you denying she said it??

Are you serious!! My husband believes things and ideas that I don't. Your trying to say, she's not her own women. Your way out of line there and all your doing is assuming!! Plus Texas and Montana people have said the same as Todd, nothing to worry about. Unless, that's were CA gets some of their money and would hate for these states to not participate in paying CA's debt load on America.

One thing I do know, there are conservatives all over CA. I lived there and I still come back to visit. The northern part has always been different, than the southern part of CA.

No, as I said, Hitler was not socialist, he was fascist. You have been taken in by what he said, not by what he did, but you are in good company, so were millions of Germans and the American Republican Party.

you follow your holy book, muslims follow their holy book, mormons follow their holy book, etc. gawd did not write any of them, men did. Men with agendas. You follow the dogma in your holy book, so do the muslims, so do the mormons, so do the shinto, hindu, and shamanists and animists around the world.

My suggestion to you is to find out what she actually said, as she did not say what you wrote.

It makes no difference how many people in how many states advocate leaving the US, in my opinion it is traitorous and dishonorable to do so. If she had honor she would have disavowed what he said, and left him. That you rationalize his and her actions places your love of country into question.

I find it appalling that I and millions of other men spent years in the service of their country only to find that there are those who think secessionists should not be hanged drawn and quartered (the old British cure for secessionists).

Hitler uttered thousands of lies during his climb to power and subsequent reign. (The Munich Agreement and the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact being two striking examples)

For an excellent example of what he thought of socialists, one need only look at who were murdered (and why) during the Night of the Long Knives incident in 1934.

Mussolini created fascism and Italy was a fascist country before and during the Second World War. But Italy was never able to spread fascism and was easily defeated by the English and Americans in 1945. The socialist somehow managed to place the fascist tag on Hitler because they didn’t like their leftwing ideology tarnished by Hitler.
Mussolini was a Marxist before he became a fascist, which didn’t take much tweaking from one ideology to the other. Funny that Marxist, communist, and socialist pretend to hate fascism when really there isn’t much difference between them other than twisting words and phrases. They all want control over the working class and the power that comes with it.

The key here is live your faith and don't trample on others. We've come along way as Christians in excepting others faiths.

I have and what I said, is what she said, in her own words. She wasn't proud of her country until she became the first lady. Although you can tell she didn't grow up poor, she's a lawyer educated in the States. Just where in her history, has she built or put her name on or supported any charities, schools for mainly black communities.

Have you thought he is more for his people than the country. Some Native Americans would like to not belong to the US what makes some of the Eskimos any different. We're talking culture here, not country love.
The last part of your statement, is borderline trying to tell others how to live and how you deal with people, who don't think as you do.

Because some of those people feel they were wronged generations ago, by the US. Look at the Eskimos in Alsaka..............
The federal food stamp program feeds nearly half the people in the Wade Hampton Census area of Western Alaska -- one of the highest rates in the country, according to a new New York Times analysis. There, nearly 3,900 people and 62 percent of all children are on food stamps, according to the Times.Read more: alaska.com | Rural Alaska blog: The Village : Half of Wade Hampton area on food stamps, but need grows fastest in cities

Feds Take Over Fishing in Alaska

I do believe, it's not a Conservative idea to see people only know how to buy food with food stamps. If I looked it up California, would probably hit second in highest food stamps. When I grew up in CA, the town was pretty conservative and people didn't use food stamps, they grew gardens or helped others with theirs and took home part of the food.

Huh, Germany, Spain, Lebanon for starters, I am guess that you really don't know much about Fascism, like the ignorant who use the term Islamofascist. You seem to be paraphrasing someone else, who does not have his facts straight

Don't forget Christians, here, you should read Eric Hoffer's, The True Believer There is no real difference between diehard Marxists, Fascists and Religious people. It is also helpful to know that all modern wealthy democratic industrial countries are socialist to one degree or another, including the US. Here is an example of a non socialist fire department, a rare thing in this country, I guess you support non socialist fire and police services, you know, like it used to be, in the olden days.

Too bad all those who don't believe as you do are doomed to hell, eh?

Pretty amazing, is what you think she said filtered through some nutcase like Glenn Beck or Michael Savage? Find what she actually said, and why, the statement she made was not context free

I bet you don't know that the food stamp program is an agricultural price support program run by the Department of Agriculture. The food stamp program is of great economic benefit to America's farmers, who are by and large, good conservative Republicans.
