Do Mormon kids ask these wimpy questions when they go on their missions to the far stretches of the planet "Send me to Utah where it's safe, not Russia dammit".

It seems if someone is secure in whatever they believe in, they can go anywhere.

What if David Livingstone and Mother Teresa had this attitude.

This theme is so common and so stupid.

Did Jesus ever say "Where is best place for Christian conservative?" No. Because he wasn't a wuss.

East San Diego County, South Orange County, parts of Riverside and San Bernandino Counties in Southern CA have lots of conservative Republican voters. I imagine a good deal of them are also conservative Christians.

The other main area is the Central Valley, especially some of the suburbs of places like Sacramento, Placer County (home of Roseville), etc.

Good luck!

The term Christian Conservative is an interesting one. Jesus espoused no conservative ideas, and in actuality was quite a revolutionary liberal, who if he were alive today would be condemned as a socialist-enviro- liberal, by the Christian Conservatives

"Mark my word, if and when these preachers get control of the [Republican] party, and they're sure trying to do so, it's going to be a terrible damn problem. Frankly, these people frighten me. Politics and governing demand compromise. But these Christians believe they are acting in the name of God, so they can't and won't compromise. I know, I've tried to deal with them. "

I have always admired Barry Goldwater. I figure when Barack Obama is called Barry Obama, usually by political conservatives, they are paying Homage to Barry Goldwater, by linking the two
