The province obtained an order from the Superior Court of Justice that prohibits anyone from distributing donations made through the website's "Freedom Convoy 2022" and "Adopt-a-Trucker" campaign pages, said a spokeswoman for Premier Doug Ford.
TD applied to the Ontario Superior Court of Justice on Friday to take the funds, which were sent through GoFundMe and bank transfers, so they can either be sent to the intended recipients or returned to the donors “who have requested refunds but whose entitlement to a refund cannot be determined by TD,” the bank said in a statement.

They remind me of anarchists, who are usually associated with the left. I think there are a number of divergent interests, but what they have in common is nothing less than to take down the government.
I wish I had time to track down and provide links to the various lockdowns and dropping of restrictions that have happened over the last 2 years in BC and elsewhere. Then maybe all of the US enthusiasts on the other thread would realize this has nothing to do with Freedom.
This has everything to do with members of some fringe political parties taking advantage of the anger of a small group of previously privileged individuals who now have the same temporary restrictions as the rest of us and the goodwill Truckers have earned over the past 2 years.
If it was really about Freedom, they would have made a national stink when the Maritimes made themselves a bubble zone. If it was really about Freedom, they would have made a national stink when BC was limiting the access between Health Authorities.
But then again if I posted the facts on the other thread, it might be deleted again for trolling or being off topic so I'm not going to bother. They can live in their fantasy world about some great Canadian awaking/uprising and I'll stay here where most people aren't affected either way.
