Yes, prior to the Castle Doctrine coming into law, you could only kill a copperhead if it entered your house with a weapon in it's hand.

This doesn't repel all kinds of snakes, it says as much on the label. We tried this and it did nothing.

Snake Repellent information and Snake repellent effectiveness.

Of course, this is under lab conditions, I might lean toward amploud's findings under homeowner conditions.

Never had a problem so not used it, sucks to hear that it may not work.

it gets worst for water moccasin (79% chance of not preventing the snake to get you)... I guess in water the product does not work as well
