The antichrist will have made himself by turning himself over to evil, as I'm sure you can relate. But, he won't be allowed to step on the world stage unit Almighty God allows it.

Is antichrist somehow different than satan?
He's a mere man possessed by satan. You'll love him.

Why is it that Christians seem to think that they are the only ones who have been persecuted?
Nero had the Apostle Paul's head chopped off; that's the antichrist spirit which is alive and well today and waiting for its season to be fully released.

Always playing the victim. Seriously?
If people don't believe in God, how could they possibly 'hate' something that doesn't exist? That's just ridiculous.
Disagreeing with your nonsensical doctrine does not equate to 'hate'.

Most of the atrocities today are committed in the name of God rather than by non-believers. (Moslime suicide bombers. Christians blowing up abortion clinics & killing Drs who perform abortions, for e.g.)
Maybe you'd like to share examples of how 'That spirit is alive & well today'?

What is righteous about trying to live a moral life, going church twice and week and learning things about the bible,?,i know plenty of folk who don't believe and believers of other religions that would put christians to shame with that stuff. Now if you was telling me Christ is your life then i might just take you seriously. You probably do not know what righteousnes is. The spirit which is evidently alive and vocal within fundamentalist circles is the one that has a form of godliness that denies the power.

9:22 Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness: in fact, ancient Israel did envisage other means of obtaining forgiveness; the Old Testament mentions contrition of heart (Ps 51:17), fasting (Jl 2:12), and almsgiving (Sir 3:29). The author is limiting his horizon to the sacrificial cult, which did always involve the shedding of blood for its expiatory and unitive value.

Paul came up claim that Jesus’ crucifixion was necessary to appease God for sins committed against him. Or was it a more acceptable explanation that Jesus was crucified for man's sins rather than executed as an insurrectionist against Rome?

Is demanding a blood sacrifice really the act of a supposedly humane, rational, and merciful God?

ROFLMFAO!

More fake news from the ALT-christianity..

The Myth:

Whenever the ancient Romans needed more trident-stabbing fodder for the pleasure dome's gladiators or more kibble for the Colosseum's big cats, Roman authorities simply rounded up another group of Christians and herded them into the arena. Reserve your seats now! Bring the kids!

Splatter guards available for the first three rows.

The Reality:

There are zero authentic accounts of Christian martyrdom in the Colosseum until over a century after Christianity became the official religion of the Roman Empire. In fact, not a single legitimate record exists of the Romans executing any Christians in the Colosseum. Zip. Zilch. Nada.

"Those Christians wish they were cool enough to get into our lion parties."

But how do we know not one lion picked his teeth with the bones of a faithful believer in the Colosseum? Because back when Emperor Nero was busily persecuting early Christians as arsonists, the Colosseum hadn't even been built yet. And by the time construction was completed decades later, Imperial Rome had reverted back to its standard policy of "Jesus, Yahweh, Zeus -- whatever, just pay your taxes, K?"

Had NOTHING to do with LIONS or the Colosseum, which was built long after Nero had left this planet.

Just as in the days of ignorance and superstitions the following was true---

Because the Roman gods were actually a part of the state religion, and it was thought that they must be worshipped regularly in order for the Romans to have victory in war and prosperity at home, it was considered a roman's patriotic duty to sacrifice regularly to Jupiter, Mars, Juno, Vesta, and leave offerings out for the household gods, the Lares and Penates.

Just as that spirit is ALIVE and WELL today as the evangelicals push for a state sanctioned RELIGION and coerce EVERYONE to obey and follow the organized church or face whatever "punishment" their god has in mind while the "faithful" are rewarded with 14 year old partners or immunity from common sense laws.
