I like St. Louis's historic architecture and its burbs are pretty nice. That being said, St. Louis proper, though slowly coming back from the dead, is still a s*&t show, and the climate is way too humid for my tastes.
Give me the dry air and the Rockies in my backyard any day of the week.

Billings, MT, or Des Moines, IA?
Not sure how to answer, because I've never been to either one, and I'm not sure if I'd want to live in either one.
Montana looks absolutely gorgeous, but Iowa seems to have its own beauty, too. Plus, it apparently has a relatively highly educated population, which, I've read, is one reason why Iowans vote first in their caucuses (?).
But, if I have to pick one, I think I'll go with Billings .
Raleigh. Easy access to the ocean, the mountains, and to a bunch of other larger metros on the East Coast.
Oklahoma City, Ok, or Wisconsin Dells, WI?
OKC... More amenities, job opportunities, and I prefer the year-round climate. Wisconsin Dells seems like a great place to visit in the summer however.
