Pretty wild to see this thread still going. I remember when it started...ok, enough nostalgia

SLO easily. The once-crowned "Happiest city in America" is gorgeous and idyllic California living without the big-city hassle.

San Antonio, TX or Indianapolis, IN?

Frankfort. The Carson City/Reno area is pretty, but pretty expensive too. Frankfort is more affordable and has nice geography too.

Erie, PA or Toledo, OH?

Nice comparison...I think I’d go Toledo due to its proximity to Detroit and its nice art museum.

Boise ID or Bozeman MT?

Pendleton. Calgary is way too big, and I have no desire to live in Canada.

Imperial Beach, California or Kings Point, New York?

Kings Point, by default. Don't want to live anywhere on the west coast.

Duluth, MN or Green Bay, WI?

Duluth MN. More scenic and the economy doesn't revolve around the Packers.

Naples FL or Biloxi MS?

Biloxi, since I supposedly have a smidge of Biloxi Indian in my family tree.

Texarkana, ARK/LA/TX or Wichita, KS?

Wichita. I've been there and thought it was a charming little city with plenty of amenities and is very laid back. People were friendly. I was there in 2012.

Grand Rapids, MI or Houston, TX?
