I’ll go with Westerly. It’s a nicer overall town

Lawrence KS or Iowa City IA?

Iowa appeals to me a bit more culturally, but Lawrence would give me access to KC, which would be nice for getting away from all the college kids for a bit. It's also larger which is nice.

Olympia, WA or Green Bay, WI?

I’ll go with Olympia due to being in a bigger area in terms of population.

Moss Point MS or Salisbury MD?

I've never been to either one, which puts me at a disadvantage. I have been to Maryland's Eastern Shore, and it has a rather mild climate with four seasons, as well as access to the Atlantic Ocean, Beaches.

So I am going with Salisbury MD.

Cassadega NY or Chesterfield, Indiana?

Chesterfield... Cassadaga seems like a quaint village with a nice lake but Chesterfield's proximity to more population centers (Anderson, Muncie, and to a lesser extent Indianapolis) make it more desirable for me.

Ann Arbor, MI or Boulder, CO?

I'd probably choose Columbia because it doesn't have the reputation for extreme political activism as Madison does.

Two cities I spent time in this past weekend:

Lake Charles, Louisiana or Beaumont, Texas?

From my limited research of both places, neither city stands out much to me. I guess narrowly I'd pick Lake Charles, since the crime rate is(per city data profiles) a little less high in Lake Charles vs. Beaumont. Beaumont's crime rate is more stubbornly high, than I prefer. At least Lake Charles' crime rate, seems to be falling a little bit. And since I suspect southwest Louisiana food would be a little more interesting, vs. southeast Texas food. Of course if we were throwing in Houston area food(I'm not, and I consider Beaumont to be not a part of the Houston metro area), that would beat southwest Louisiana food. Finally I looked up the scores of both these smaller cities on areavibes, and Lake Charles scored better. And I suppose the local Lake Charles casino might provide some entertainment to me, if I wanted something different to do. I remember reading Texas still hasn't legalized casinos, to this day.

Moving on, and I'll change the focus to historic towns. Natchez, MS, or Natchitoches, LA?

I picked Natchez since I've never been there. Columbia MO or Iowa City IA?

Iowa City seems like a nicer overall college town. I’ll take it.

Minneapolis MN or Vancouver BC?
