Los Angeles will most definitely be one of the ten, that $5 Billion SoFi Stadium was built with hosting the World Cup in mind. So, they have truly a world class facility and it's the 2nd largest metro area in the largest state. My other picks are, Atlanta, Seattle, New York, Denver, Dallas, Orlando, Miami, Kansas City, and Houston.
One thing is for sure. NYC won’t be the only place in the east coast. I think DC-Bmore is a lock. And FIFA will choose between Boston and Philly for the third and last northeast city
I agree. But I think ultimately, Philadelphia might be more appealing to FIFA with the stadium a short distance from downtown, on a rapid transit line, and right off a major interstate. I'm hopeful for Boston, but I just don't see how it has a major advantage here.

I think it could have if a stadium was under construction or at least concrete plans were in place. But there's nothing outside of the occasional rumor, so I doubt it's even a factor for FIFA. I think even if Kraft made the announcement today that they intended to build in Everett, it would still be hard to have the doors open for the 2026 World Cup. The land sale, permitting process (inc. neighborhood opposition, revisions, and approvals from every necessary body), site mitigation (almost certainly would be a brownfield which takes time to prep), and construction could easily run past 2026. I wish though.
Atlanta and Dallas are guaranteed, they already have press conferences scheduled for Thursday at their respective stadiums. Atlanta may get a semi-final (NY or LA probably gets the final) and has a chance to be the International Broadcast Centre.
I'd start with places that have sold out American football stadiums for soccer.
And where tends of thousands of visitors can walk from hotels to the stadium.
You would think that, but in 94 they had games at the Pontiac Silverdome and Foxborough Stadium, both of which are in BFE.
I think NY, LA, Chicago, DC, SF are locks.
Dallas and Miami are most likely too.
For the remaining three, who knows?? I’m going with Las Vegas for one of them.

DC and Baltimore are hosting a joint bid as one region. The stadium to hold the games will be M&T Bank in Downtown Baltimore. DC will be hosting an official fan fest, most likely on the National Mall, if the bid is selected.

No way there's only one East coast city and no way both DC and Baltimore get left out over Orlando and Houston
