That's the worst combo. NY and TX. That's a MONSTER. I met NY texans, they were surprisingly humble.

I don't see why Texas is being said so much. Just like CA, we could careless about what you say about us. We are constantly talked about in news and media. We're use to being criticized unlike New Yorkers where they always praised.

You must be in Charlotte! I think CLT is going through what FL has been going through.

He sort of rolled his eyes and said TX was a racist state, because GW was from there.. And this guy hasn't even been to TX. I just laughed, it wasn't too big of a deal, then I talk about NY and an argument unsues. I'm telling you man, TX is like:Were TX, were awesome, were, the best, NY is like:Were NY, Were the best, Were awesome, and YOUR state sucks, and I wanna move back to NY, You guys are country yadi yada yada. And I'm sure not ALL New Yorkers are this way.

Please explain why almost 1/3 want to secede then? You may say because of the Federal government, but like it or not, it is still a representative government from every state.

Now I think there are many humble, friendly Texans out there, and I have met many of them in my travels. But when a Texan wears his pride(either state or in himself) on his/her shoulder, it can annoy others (greatly). Luckily it is a minority (maybe 1 out of 3) that are like that. However, they are a loud minority...
