Yes people use outdated words, but if you're from New York City and you are living in New York City, you can't be a carpet bagger.

but we're still called yankees in a derogatory manner, on CD, regardless if we leave the state or not. ppl still have all types of negative things to say about us or our city, period.

Quit feelin' sorry for yourself and answer the question I asked you; on what experience do you base your strong opinion of Chicago hot dogs? C'mon buster, come clean, you never had one did you? You've never been to Chicago, your parents haven't taken you there, right?

I'm currently in NY until Monday.

I'm having a great time while I'm here, but the hot dogs (atleast from the street vendors) are not up to par.

Take a trip across the river and have a NJ hotdog.

A few years ago while i was in college in Maine, my parents visited and we went to Flo's. They're supposedly nationally known and were on some special on the travel channel. It's a little shack on the side of the road way off in the middle of nowhere. They taste better than our NY hot dogs, and that takes a lot for me to say that. It's the sauce they put on it that makes it amazing. Too bad it's so far away!
