I disagree. I think the talent is there but the lack of execution, the dumb mistakes, and inexperience exposed a team that was overrated. Going into the season, I though the Huskers should have been ranked # 15 but as the season progressed, I bought into the hype. Despite the blowout last night, I think they could win out. It just depends on how they respond to this loss.

There is some great talent on the team but not in our coordinators. Tim Beck is quoted saying how suprised he was by how bad we did. Really?! Has he been watching the same games I have, this didn't suprise me at all. They're changing different players positions every week but yet there's Martinez still in as our best running back, oh wait, he's the quarterback! I think they're all living in a fantasy world if they thought we were anywhere near prepared to play what looked like the Huskers of 94/95. I guess now they know, and they better figure something out.

The offense isn't the probem, at least not entirely. I think it is time for Pelini to take the Blackshirts away again.

Nice! Now that's funny! I will say that despite the poor showing last night, I still think they can go 7-0 or 6-1 to finish the season. I'm not very optimistic about a rematch against the Badgers though.

He hasn't given them out yet this season!

I bet they stay in the closet all season.

They haven't earned them, but, is it all the player's fault or should Carl be taking some of the blame??

I think there is plenty of blame to go around. The problem I see is that no matter how good of a game plan a coach rolls out if the talent isn't there it doesn't matter.

Thorell, Fisher, Cassidy, and to a lesser extent Green and Evans would all not even make the team on a defense like LSU, Alabama or Oklahoma. And wouldn't see the field on Wisconsin's defense.

Those guys I am sure play their asses off and love the game, but at a certain point there has to be the athletic ability to cover a WR and go up and knock a pass down and those guys simply can't.
