I don't know why I am surprised that Nebraska plays games like this anymore. They happen every ****ing year.

Every year for the last 5 and counting...losing at home to an unranked team. They seem uninspired, which is becoming an unfortunate staple of Pelini's teams.

Way to go Wildcats! Glad your defense FINALLY showed up. Sorry, but NU is not Indiana type bad team. NU is a decent team and if you overlook 'em, they are capable of beating you. Good luck next week Huskers, you've brought a lot of interest and fun into the league!

The next two games are going to be a difficult test. I originally predicted 2-3 losses during the regular season. If they can somehow win two of the final three games, I think they can make up for the Northwestern loss. Anything less than that and I think the season has to be considered a disappointment.

I think they beat Penn State and Iowa, and lose to Michigan. I really hope they beat Michigan though...I have always hated them.

This game was interesting because it pitted strength vs strength (Nebraska offense vs Penn St defense) and weakness vs weakness (Nebraska defense vs Penn St offense).

Did anyone else notice that Nebraska would move the ball well and sustain drives while primarily running the ball, but once they went to pass-first strategy they stalled? And it wasn't on Martinez, he threw the ball fairly well. Receivers dropped passes, Penn State was able to defend the pass better than the run, etc. I wish they would stick with what's working.

One down two to go after the Huskers pulled a out a very nice win last week. The Michigan game at the Big House is one of the two games I was really worried about when the schedule was released (the other being Wisconsin). I'm not overly optimistic but I think we have a shot. If Burkhead plays like he did last week, we'll likely win. Here's to hoping that State drops one to Indiana or Northwestern.

Great game against Iowa. I think this Heroes' Game or Farmageddon is going to live up to all its hype. Now if Bo can just get them playing like this every week.
