Kudos to WV. AGAIN! I thought it was a great game. The WV Mountaineers are impressive. I only hope they ride the emotional high for the next few weeks before we (KSU) play them.

Kind of disappointed in TT. It seems the fans were just as disappointed. I heard a lot of TT fans left early. I wanted TCU to win, but you can never tell who is going to come up big against a ranked opponent.

The BIG GAME next week is TX vs OU. Should be fun to watch. BTW, Pelini got his money's worth out of his gum this past weekend against Ohio State.

Our field goal kicker came to us this season from Penn State. Fera was one of the best last year, but this was his first game after battling a groin pull since summertime.

Nonetheless, there is no excuse for a lack of fundamental execution on defense which allowed WVU to win that game.

I would agree with those grades except for my Texas Tech Red Raiders. I would give them a "D" for that pathetic performance last Saturday. I expected OU to play well and they did, but I was expecting Tech to at least make the game interesting. Tech had some very costly turnovers in that game. OU's defense probably caused some of those turnovers but some of them were mostly because of poor execution/decision making by Tech's QB. You just can't give a team like OU opportunities like that!

Mountaineer fan here again...am waiting anxiously for the game Saturday (WVU vs. Texas Tech). It's odd not knowing how our team will do against the teams of the Big XII...it was easier when you knew what to expect from the Big East conference teams...but, it's going well so far...so, we'll see.

Fingers crossed...go Mounties!

How do you give Texas a D+?? I know we lost but we did have the lead, should have made a kick to tie(smdh). Its not like we lost 34-10 at home like UCLA. WV was ranked above Texas as well.

Thats that ou hater in you I guess.

I am a WVU and thought you did good.

Some people only care about the #1 team and the SEC, but the Big 12 is a very good offense. Offensively it is probably the best. The game last Saturday was a match between two great offensives, and it was a very rare game. I cant think of many games were teams give up punting and constantly go for it on 4th. It was a very exciting game, and even losing you have to admit it kept you glued to the end and was exciting the entire time.

At the end of the game Texas did messup, after they forced a turnover and couldnt even kick a field goal. However, WVU had some tremendous mistakes too.

I would give you a B.

I know! He gave my KS State team a B! I guess because we got off to a slow start against KU. Or maybe he is grading on a curve! I give my team an A for the season simply because they beat Stoops. Make that Stoops x2.

I am taking WVU. I think WV will lose to one of the weaker teams in the BXII. Why? No reason other than they are riding high! And what goes up plays poorly at some point. My philosophy grade is a "D".

Sadly, I am taking OU to win over Texas. Mack is just getting beat too often these days. And I think OU has something to prove.

Wow! Wow! Wow!

My wife is a UT graduate and I am an Oregon graduate. So, we are an Oregon family. Every year for the RRS, we have discussed dropping $400+ on tix to go see the big game and every year there is a Duck game on, so we usually stay here in Austin instead of making our way up to Dallas.

Well, the stars have aligned this year- no Duck game and a close friend just offered us her tix because something came up. I was out the door in the car rockin' a Duck shirt, eating bbq, drinking Lone Star, and getting ready to try some god knows what food fried on a stick...and then I look up and see my wife with our 5 month old daughter in her hands and with "that look"- y'all know that look. And that's when I remember, life is just a little different this year. So much for those stars aligning...
