Thats that ou hater in you I guess.
I don't like Tejas, but I certainly don't hate 'em.

If you look at my rankings from week to week you'll notice I gave my own team an F when OU lost on its own field to Kansas State.

And yes, I am harder on OU/TX because they are elite programs. Getting beat on your home field is horrible and inexcusable if you're OU or TX. I don't care who is coming in there. West Virginia ran all over you; and any legit Horn fan will admit this much. With the size/speed of Longhorn athletes this is inexcusable. That was probably, along with losing on your home field obviously, what put y'all down to the grade of D in my opinion.

Here's my scale (probably should have posted this at the first of the thread so we had some perspective on the grades):

A-/A/A+ (Very Good to Excellent to Superior) = You have to WIN to receive a grade of A-or Higher. (No "A for Effort" stuff.)

B-/B/B+ (Solid Clean Game to Good to Very Good) = Don't have to WIN, but game must be very close and CLEAN with minimal mistakes/turnovers.

C-/C/C+(Just Enough to Keep Game Close/Average/Avg-Solid) = Typical college football game with one of the teams having two or more turnovers. A lot of sloppy play but a few big plays by the winning team to put them over the top.

D-/D/D+(Very Bad, to Poor, to Bad in Almost Every Phase Except) = Only Losing Teams Receive a D+ or Lower

F (Just Bad/Sloppy at Everything with Excessive Turnovers)

Any predictions on the WV-KSU game next week?

I think playing WVU after they SUFFERED a loss will make them a better team next week. I also think it was a good wake up call to them. You have to play D to win consistently. No brainer there. They won't have another off week like they did against TT.

I think Coach Bill Snyder will have KSU ready, focused, disciplined, and ready to take on the home crowd of WVU. Go Cats!

How rude of those Sooners...they didn't use any lube at all!

Oh well, at least I'll be dead before they can ever tie up the series. lol

The only thing that surprised me about that game was the competent Texas offense going belly-up Saturday.
The defense had already been exposed by the 4 weak teams we already played. No fundamentals anywhere on that side of the ball.

I agree redbird, WV will play better next week and Coach Snyder will indeed have the Wildcats ready, focused and disciplined as always. Collin Klein has played well against tough defenses like OU so I think he'll make some big plays against WV's defense. They'll have a hard time stopping him. I guess the only question is, can K State's defense stop Geno Smith. If the Wildcats can do that, or at least slow him down, they'll have a good chance to win.

West Virginia allowed Baylor to drop 63 on them. They gave up 500+ yards to Marshall. West Virginia's defensive woes aren't limited to the Texas Tech game. I would expect more of the same during the Kansas St game. Kansas State should be able to easily put up points. Texas Tech exposed how to take Geno Smith out of the game. If Kansas State replicates it, they will woodshed West Virginia.

Well the Big 12 is a real football conference with good teams and not an awful cupcake conference (ACC) so anything goes.

Can't even see a clear cut Big XII champ right now.

It's gonna be tough for EVERYONE.
