Only if you're using the NJ Turnpike. You have a few exits prior to the toll including I-295 which parallels the NJ Turnpike for most of the route. The toll is for Delaware bound and points south.

You can avoid at least a couple of those tolls by exiting immediately after the DMB and proceeding on 40W. It is the old service road, has plenty of timed and synchronized lights, but if you happen to be traveling after hours it is a money saving alternative. The lights are timed to synch right at the max speed limit - which of course never happens unless you're on it between 10 Pm and 5 am.

4/11/12. 11:45am. I-95 Southbound in Westport minor accident on left shoulder. No picture since traffic was still moving along. Backups were starting and if cops arrive they'll probably block the left lane and cause major traffic. It's probably not reported yet. I haven't been on I-95 in a week. Lol.

And then some more afterwards.
Traffic Incidents

Right Lane closed on Merrit = 1 lane getting by. Right lane closed on I-95 = 2 lanes getting by. 3 lanes isnt enough just imagine 2 lanes....during Fridays rush hour.

Northbound 95 traffic from Stamford to Westport and on was horrendous today. I have a feeling this summer is going to be torture.

Actually it isn't the state's fault. CT has some of the toughest individuals in america but boy these people don't know how to drive.

The number 1 reason why we have accidents on the highway is because some **** is in the left lane blocking traffic. I have actually seen traffic form 8 times. That was the reason why. 1 car in the left hand lane blocking off traffic people get nonchalant and then a build up happens which most likely leads to an accident.

People here don't know the meaning of defensive driving. The object is to stay away from other cars.
There are so many times I have my turn signal on and some **** won't let me into the lane. In fact he matches my speed.

How can you hit another car if another car is 10 feet away from you unless your brakes are faulty. Thats defensive driving and people don't know the meaning of it.
Also people aren't decisive on the road.
They hesistate. Which also causes accidents.

I have been in only 1 accident which yielded no damage to either car (I just touched his car) because my brakes were bad, it was ice on the road, we were in the middle of storm and I drive like a mad man out of 7 years of driving.

I'm past the point of frustration on the road. I just drive like a complete ***. It got to the point where I actually whipped somebody's behind thinking that I wasn't going to get out of the car.

Thats another thing.

WHy in the blue heck do people feel the need to slow down to 5 MPH and STARE AT SOMEBODY GETTING PULLED OVER OR AN ACCIDENT.
