I saw it a while back- someone may need to help me out. Is there a development going up near Asylum Hill by the train station to rehab the area? From what I heard there is a huge development planned for the Asylum Hill side of the highway.

Asylum Hill is Hartford, are you thinking another area of New Haven? Or Hartford.

Oh, I just realized this was a New Haven-specific thread. My bad... I got a bit confused there. I read the thread title as "New Connecticut Construction Thread".

A developer is proposing an ambitious plan to further develop New Haven’s Science Park. They will be adding apartments and commercial space as well as adding more research and development space. Should be a great addition to the city. Jay

It is, and another example of how to enable adding population w/o using land left to nature. Converting some industrial land like unused portions of Science Park (the former Winchester Firearms factory), or retail land like Connecticut Post to apartments is a great way to maintain a Grand List and enable a larger population , concurrently.

Cancer biotech firm Arvinas has made a massive commitment to take 160,000 square feet of space at the new 101 College Street bioscience tower. That’s great news for the project and the city. Jay

Great news for Tweed. Getting the runways lengthened with private money is a huge win, even if long term the deal doesn't work out.

That's huge, especially Avelo's announcement to make it an east coast hub. Also, Avports is backed by Goldman Sachs.

Two big wins for New Haven with Arvinas and Avelo. The lack of air service has been a big challenge there for a long time.
