I have no problem with any "attacks" on a celeb - I just think it's humorous that people feel the need to attack someone that cares nothing about them. It's especially humorous when the "attack" is based on something the celeb didn't even do (i.e. outrage for the sake of outrge). If your outrage is based on something that happened in 2011....well, that's a long time to hold a grudge against a stranger.
Meh, I love comedy. My ex is a comedian and if comedy wasn't so hard I would be too. Maybe you just take things too seriously. Maybe I don't take things seriously enough. Me and a friend use to always make jokes about Beyonce's sister. I am sure Solange couldn't care less about me if she even knew I existed. I still had fun goofing around and calling her Beyonce's B-side.
I think "southerners" have a better understanding of "racism" than you do. Here is the actual definition of racism:
Now please tell me in what way Paula Deen is being racist. You can say this is offensive, but it is not racism. BTW, at best she is mocking a popular and culturally significant television show and it's famous symbolism. How is that any different from dozens of satirical sketches that happen every day in the name of "satire".
She wasn't being racist at all, but the media can make some advertising dollars if the portray her being racist. If they don't put that spin on it, they have no story. No story equals no money. When will people learn this formula? Seems like it is taking the general population forever to figure all this stuff out. The faster you don't believe the media the better!
The libs will grasp at anything these days to feed their Nazi agenda, though.......
What - you said the "N word" 20 years ago...you are FINISHED. People are on witch hunts nowadays and love raging on others that don't toe the PC line.
