I eat my smallest meal af dinner....I eat my biggest at lunch which is also during my most active part of the day....I also sleep better when my evening meal is light. I am not on WW but I have lost 74 pounds and have never gone a week during the last 14 months without losing....which was never the case in the past when I dieted. I have no idea whether eating a small dinner has anything to do with it.
Mine about equal out. Lunch is usually some kind of salad with FF milk. The salad this week is the one featured in the weight watchers weekly that gets passed out at the meetings (it's this week's issue). Dinner is meatloaf with mini artichokes and more FF milk.
I tend to eat most of my points in the evening. I think I need to try and change things up a bit and eat more for breakfast, a little less for lunch and even less for dinner. I don't know if I can, though!
WW suggests spreading your points out through the day, not lumping it into basically one meal. It prevents hunger and keeps your metabolism perking.
I don't lump my calories into one meal - I eat a good breakfast and more calories at lunch than dinner. As I said, I have lost a lot of weight - I wear a size 4 now and I'm 5'9 (down from a tight size 16)....there are studies that show that eating a lighter (and not too late) dinner does indeed produce greater weight loss than those eating the exact same calories who eat a big dinner.
Just thought this might be helpful to consider and maybe even experiment with for a couple of weeks. WW does not hold the last word on weight loss - there are plenty of good techniques...just open your mind a bit.

Actually, our WW leaders usually acknowledge that one solution does not work for all so do what works for you. I usually try to leave most of my points for the evening, since I know that when my husband is home I am going to want more. On the nights he works, I can usually get by with a little less. I have lost 61 pounds and am down to my last 10. Making some changes might help me get those last pounds off. We'll see.
I forgot to eat breakfast this morning, ate 11 points for lunch/snack and now have 15 left for the rest of the night.
Congrats - good luck with the last 10 - great accomplishment!
Thank you! Congrats on your loss, too!
My losses aren't consistent anymore. I have been working out a lot more and can actually see and feel muscles that weren't there before. I'm hoping that explains the small gains on the scale. LOL
75 year old male. 6'4" . Started WW Online on January 8, 2012. By September 2012 down to 240 from 300 pounds. WW online is a great program. I have been unable to lose additional pounds but have maintained 240 for 9 months. I recently cancelled my WW Online membership. I feel the best I have in 30+ years.
