The Republican Party must not want to win any elections anymore. Why oh why would you turn your back on Chris Christie, your best shot to win big, and put all your hopes on Ben Carson? What are his credentials besides being a jerk at the national prayer breakfast, indulging daily in the Fox News echochamber, comparing gay marriage to bestiality, and rehashing Allen West's tired "government plantation" line?

By all means, nominate Ben Carson, if you still remember who he is in 2016, but don't be surprised when you lose in a landslide and lose even more support from minorities.

What is happening to this party?? You've let blind rage overtake any rational approach to policy and the ability to actually win an election...

This, essentially.

His opposition to same sex marriage automatically makes him not viable for presidency.

why do you say they are turning their back on Chris Christie? The CPAC does not represent the entire party, by anymeans and the winners on the straw poll very rarely goes anywhere after that. Ron P won it last year. If Christie is a candidate and there is a huge IF, the party will not turn its back on him. Ben Carson isn't going to get the nomination, in fact I doubt he will run, but if he does, I hope people listen to him. Like many people, who have come from poverty and made it with hard work, he has a message. I will assure you, if he were to get the nomination, the party would not lose more of the minority vote.

It is the leftist that are making a huge deal out of his popularity, as usual, when a Republican possible candidate starts looking Pres the left tear him/her apart.

The best part is that ANY Black person that makes Conservative comments suddenly has their hat thrown into the ring for next POTUS. Of the last 3, 1 was a small town mayor, and the other 2 weren't even politicians... lol

So who does represent the Republican Party? In post after post you've asserted that Nutball flavor of the month X doesn't represent the party, and that even the officially adopted Republican Party Platform doesn't represent the party.

If these guys with their extremist views don't represent the party then why are they in control of the message? Why are they all over FOX News, talk radio and internet blogs?
