Do you like your IPhone? You will not be able to afford one once Donald Sanders is President.

Yes and as I was told on another thread - if you work with Attorneys - you are obviously for the Establishment.

Naw, he wants to turn us into Sweden.

Pretty much.

There are plenty of jobs in these fields here in the US that companies need people to fill, and often they can't find anyone to fill them so they're forced to import workers.

And that's the problem with making college free for all. Many people shouldn't really even go to college. College has become a place in our culture now where kids go "to find themselves". The honest truth is, if you don't know what you want to do by age 18, you're certainly not alone, but it would serve you better to just find an entry level job while you make that decision. From there, study and learn by watching others, and perhaps when you're ready go to school to complete a program or even enroll in a trade school. Society would be much better served.

Big difference in the brains needed for an engineering degree vs a liberal arts degree!! I think we need more tradesmen in electrical, carpentry, auto repair, HVAC, masons etc etc... Everyone doesn't need college to make a respectable income!

Bernie hasn't steered the country that much to the left. Obama has moved the country so far left that Bernie did not have to join the Democratic party so much as the Democratic party enveloped him. Bernie would just put the finishing touches to the damage Obama has already done.

This issue is threatening to destroy our society if it does not get serious reform.
All that needs to be done is to eliminate the exclusion for student loans when you go bankrupt. But, if you get your student loans resolved through bankruptcy, you never get to have it removed from your record. like some debts are now. You will forever be known as a cheat. Maybe more students can pay off their law school debt by handling the bankruptcies that would result.

Solidarity! If you work for somebody else for a wage and are not in a Union you are a fool. Without representation you have absolutely no chance at protecting yourself from arbitrary management.
I guess my continued employment working "for the man" had nothing to do with doing a good job? If I had known I could be a slacker and continue on as I have, I would have pushed for a union. I guess I wasted the last 30-40 years making a decent living when I didn't have to work so hard. D**n!

This is another good idea to think about. Something has to change.

There are two parallel examples that show his free education folly.

His free education and other social programs wont be free it will be paid for by imposing higher taxes. Also he realizes status quo isnt working as we have a 20 trillion deficit, his wanting the rich to pay their share is a good idea IMO.

So the lesson learnt from decades of trickle down economics eventually leading to the Great Recession and massive income inequality and religious nuts going bonkers is that Bernies economics are stupid. Got it.
