Nah, I think his Waterloo is his ego in all its 'glory'.

And all he had to do was ignore it and it would have been out of the news cycle.

Pretty disappointing how he handled the situation. All he had to do is just stay quiet about that mother

In this interview, he did so well UNTIL he started questioning this mother's grief. Why did he do that?

If you look at the events of the past several months, mainly the things Trump has caught Hell for saying, it is obvious that he is absolutely his own worst enemy and can not control anything that rolls out of his foul mouth. Just when you think "Damn, he had better start acting in a more civilized manner and stop spouting lies and garbage", he comes out with something more outrageous and damaging.

He honestly believed that statement he made that he could shoot someone and his supporters would stand by him, and, to a degree, he is right, I fear. But you can only fool people for so long, or be an ass so many times, before enough people come to their senses and quit thinking you are ok.

Every day it is something more stupid that he does than the day before, that is why I think he is on the verge of a breakdown. At the very least, he will self destruct. No sane person would act the way he does or say the things he says.

Don

If you're going to make these statements, then be prepared to defend them.
Hope springs eternal I suppose….

Guess you had to learn the hard way that you don't mess with Gold Star families. Your the big loser in this one Donny!
