You see I'm not so sure about that. The people that Trump is turning off are the Bush / Kasich Republicans. More educated and more moderate conservatives that don't agree with the tea party slant of the current GOP. The problem is Trump didn't win these voters over in the primaries. I think it's entirely possible that they were looking for an excuse to dump him rather than vote for him. We will know in a few weeks if this new turn works.
