This article summarizes how badly Donald's campaign is in trouble.

I do not know if he can ever recover.

No surprise. No thinking person can listen to lies and bs from a know-nothing every day of the week and not begin to get the picture.

The primary voters who put him in this position do not represent the views of the majority nor does the House of Representatives, for that matter - thanks to gerrymandering.

But, lo and behold - gerrymandering doesn't work in the Presidential elections. Then we find out what the country REALLY thinks.

You forget gerrymandering works both ways. In addition, in places where it has been most egregious, court cases have been lost due to the attempt of slicing up a district in a way that does not make sense. But, since it is the States right to determine the districts, there is not much Congress can do about it, is there?

You are correct, although a couple of western states have made efforts to fix it. Never happening in a GOP state, these days, that's for sure - because, in reality, GOP is in the minority in this country and has been for 16 years - ever since Gore won the popular vote. Gerrymandering is the only way the GOP tail can wag the dog. WI is seriously and detrimentally being affected in too many fundamental areas because both state houses and gov are GOP although the state is fundamentally democratic - and they do not care about anything except to put a boot on the neck of the people - keep 'em poor and stupid - and keep their power.

The people of Wisconsin have had enough and are asking the courts for relief.

You have a state with a democrat majority governed by a republican minority. What this means is that Democrats probably have to win about 55 to 56 percent of the statewide vote to win control of the state assembly. Or to put it differently, Republicans need only win 44 to 45 percent.

Is there any chance the Rs can still dump Trump and put in Pence?
Or is it too late?

That's with likely voters. With registered it is 52 to 38 for Clinton.
