The primary polls were very close to the results. Trump was doing well in the primary polls for the states that he won. Remember his constant bragging about the polls?

Trump missed his "yes man" Corey Lewandowski. Things didn't work out well for him without a "yes man" at his side, giving him the constant encouragement that a narcissist craves. So he just hired a replacement "yes man".

He is still consulting with Lewandowski but realizes it would look terrible if he officially re-hired Lewandowski. He probably wanted to re-hire Lewandowski but Ivanka and Jerod overruled. Hiring a replacement Yes man was the next best option.

Pretty much matches other polling in those states. Iowa close and Clinton close to or at a double digit lead in Virginia and Colorado.

More terrible news for the Trump campaign. Trump is not competitive in a single one of the 18 states + DC that every Democratic nominee has carried for the last six Presidential elections.

Together, they amount to 242 Electoral College votes.

He's also not competitive in NM (which was always hopeless for Trump) or VA/CO/NH. He's not merely behind - he's behind by margins that are simply not overcome in 12 weeks in modern Presidential campaigns.

That's 273 Electoral College votes.

Game.
Set.
Match.

(and that doesn't even take into account that he's also behind in FL, OH, NV, IA, NC)

Yeah, if this continues into next week I think panic mode will set in with the RNC. They won't be able to support him long behind the scenes if he can't improve on these numbers.

Default LA Times poll: Trump getting bump from African American outreach....

HILLARY'S IN TROUBLE: LA Times Poll: Trump's SURGING with African Americans.

Those numbers are significant if he's getting 14%.
