NBC News/SurveyMonkey

Clinton 42%
Trump 40%
Johnson 11%
Stein 4%

Favorability/Unfavorability ratings are basically tied. Clinton leads with independents by 2%.

And this is a NBC (Network Backing Clinton) poll where the Dems. are spotted 2% before the pollsters start making calls.

Would be helpful if folks would post links to the stats they post.

Pretty sure at this point everyone knows where to find RCP or 538...or Google.

Head-to-head Hillary's lead has melted even worse - from 10% (8/1-8/7) to 4%. It will further evaporate once her "basket of deplorables" and health issues get factored in.

This poll had Clinton up 6% from early-mid August.

FiveThirtyEIght's polls-only forecast gives Clinton an 69% chance to win the presidency

Polls-plus puts Clinton's chance at 68%

Trump is like a basketball team that just cut a 20 point lead to 2 with 3 minutes left on the clock. He has the momentum on his side and his opponent continues to collapse (literally) and do the wrong thing at every opportunity (basket of deplorables).

Good analogy although I would say Trump cut the lead to 2 with eight minutes left in the fourth quarter.

Momentum favors Trumps and HC is looking confused. This wasn't supposed to happen. The plan was to run the clock out with HC safely in the lead.

Now, the Dem leadership is about 4 shrinkage points away from seriously considering dumping her.

The US presidential election is not a basketball game. No modern candidate who has trailed behind his opponent for weeks after the conventions has gone on to win the presidency.
